The Blazers won the swish3 contest in the Mar 4 home win 125-104 over WAS Wizards. Blazers scored 13 of 31 vs WAS 11 of 35. Dame was back, we finally got win 28, and all 5 starters scored double figures, with 4 of them scoring at least 22. Melo had his best game scoring 25 with 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals in 31 min. Hassan scored 24 pts with 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocks. Dame and CJ each scored 22 pts with 5 assists and a block, and Dame had 2 steals. Trevor scored 15 pts with 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals and the highest +/- rating of 36.

Dame led scoring 4 of 7, Melo scored 3 of 5, Trevor scored 2 of 4, CJ scored 2 of 7, Mario scored 1 of 1, and Simons scored 1 of 3. Nassir was 0 of 1 and Gary was 0 of 3.

The balanced scoring and consistent defense complemented the good passing and communication. This should be the 2nd of a winning streak that could grow to 8 and a playoff slot if the Blazers can stay focused and energetic for all 4 quarters of each game. Let's imagine wins from here on!

The Blazers clearly lost the swish3 contest Mar 6 in the 117-127 loss to PHO Suns. Blazers scored 13 of 32 vs PHO 19 of 42. The 18 point deficit, poor rebounding (just 39 vs 47 by PHO, and lack of defense resulted in a loss that should have been a win. Blazers allowed Baynes to score a career high 9 of 14 swish3s.

Trevor led scoring 3 of 5, Dame scored 3 of 7, and CJ scored 3 of 8, Hassan, Wenyen, and Mario each scored 1 of 1, and Melo scored 1 of 3. Simons was 0 of 1 and Gary was 0 of 5.

This was a poor game for the Blazers in which lethargic defense, with many uncontested swish3s and easy layups seemed to be correlated with cold shooting and thus the loss of an opportunity. Let's imagine energized play for a win over SAC on Mar 7.

The Blazers badly lost the swish3 contest in the Mar 7 home loss 111-123 to SAC Kings. Blazers scored only 10 of 39 (25.6%) vs SAC 21 of 39. SAC put on a demonstration with the 33 point advantage, with Bogdanovich scoring 7 of 11 and Hield scoring 6 of 9, and Barnes scoring 5 of 7. The Blazers allowed SAC 40 pts in the 1st Q and 37 in the 2nd Q and never recovered. The only Blazer lead was at 4-2.

Mario led scoring 2 of 4, Gary scored 2 of 5, Dame scored 2 of 10, Melo and Wenyen each scored 1 of 2, Trevor scored 1 of 5, and CJ scored 1 of 7. Simons and Nassir were each 0 of 2.

Blazers failed to challenge swish3 shooting and allowed uncontested layups, while losing rebounds 41-47 and assists 22-30. FT shooting was poor at 17 of 26 (65.4%). This was an unpleasant loss that should have been a win. Playoffs are now unlikely. Let's imagine a revenge win over the Suns.

The Blazers won the swish3 contest in the Mar 10 home win 121-105 over the PHO Suns. Blazers scored 17 of 35 vs PHO 11 of 32. Blazers played defense in this game and that allowed the win. This was a good game for Trevor, Hassan, Melo, Mario, and Dame.

Trevor led scoring 5 of 8, Dame scored 5 of 10, Mario scored 2 of 2, Melo scored 2 of 3, CJ scored 2 of 6, and Simons scored 1 of 2. Nassir was 0 of 1 and Gary was 0 of 3.

Next up is the essential MEM game in which the Blazers must score 15+, play solid and consistent defense, aim for a total of 125+, and get that 30th win!

Will this turn out as badly as me imagining Bernie Sanders will win the presidency?

The Blazers decisively won the swish3 contest over DEN scoring a record 23 of 39 (59%) vs 14 of 28 in the 125 to 115 win. Swish3 dominance is the way to beat HOU and DEN and potentially also LAC. This was a great game for Dame and Gary who accounted for 18 scored swish3s!

Dame led scoring 11 of 18, Gary scored 7 of 10, CJ scored 3 of 5, Zach and Melo each scored 1 of 2, and Nurk was 0 of 2. Nurk, please stop attempting swish3s! Dame had 12 assists and notably led the team to this victory!

Blazer sweet spot scoring may be 125 if there is sufficient defense. With at least 3 swish3 shooting threats, attempting 38+ swish3s per game appears to be a good strategy.

The Blazers won the swish3 contest Aug 8 over the LA Dippers scoring 17 of 43 vs 15 of 34, but lost the game 120 to 122. The Blazers led almost the entire game, by as many as 10 points, but were behind when time ran out going cold in the 4th Q.

Gary led scoring 6 of 10, CJ scored 6 of 13, Dame scored 2 of 10, Zach and Nurk each scored 1 of 2, and Melo scored 1 of 3. Mario was 0 of 1 and Simons was 0 of 2. The Dippers had a FT advantage scoring 23 of 28 vs the Blazers 12 of 17. And the Blazers were out-rebounded 45-41.

Edit: Final score was 117 to 122 because the final buzzer CJ swish3 was not counted. After scoring 75 in the first half, the Blazers only scored 21 each in the 3rd and 4th Q, not even able to win with a 115-110 lead in the final 2 min.

Myou say we won the contest only because we made more?

their percentage was much higher and they only made two less. That, to me, is a win for them. Not us.

The Blazers lost the Aug 9 swish3 contest scoring only 11 of 35 vs PHI 14 of 30 in the 124-121 win. This time, the Blazers held on to the late lead despite being out-rebounded 41 - 48, which is disappointing.

Dame led scoring 4 of 12, Melo scored 2 of 4, Mario scored 2 of 5, CJ scored 2 of 6, and Gary scored 1 of 6. Nurk and Simons were each 0 of 1, and should stop attempting swish3s. Leave those shots to Gary and others who are averaging >40%.

The Blazers lost the swish3 contest Aug 11 to the MAVs scoring 15 of 38 vs MAVs 20 of 44 in the 134-131 win. Dame was dazzling scoring 61 pts including an exceptional Dame Time 4th Q strategic swish3 that hit the back rim, but dropped from high with a satisfying swish!

Dame scored 9 of 17, Melo scored 3 of 5, Zach scored 1 of 1, CJ scored 1 of 5, and Gary scored 1 of 6. Nurk was 0 of 1 and Mario was 0 of 3.

This was a game led and willed by Dame, for which he deserves top player praise. We need this Dame again on Thursday against the NETs!

The Blazers lost the swish3 contest Aug 13 scoring 13 of 39 vs BKN Nets 14 of 33 in the 134-133 win to get the 8th seed. This was another terrific playoff game that should certify Dame as the Bubble MVP. BKN outrebounded the Blazers 42-46.

Dame led scoring 8 of 14, Gary scored 4 of 10, and Melo scored 1 of 4. Simons was 0 of 1, Zach and Mario were each 0 of 2, and CJ was 0 of 6. Both Dame and Nurk made key defensive plays late in the 4th that showed enough determination to win the game!

Dame scored another feature of the year swish3 from the center court logo followed by another long swish3 to get us the 117 to 116 lead that was strategic for the momentum. Let's imagine more determined play for the win over MEM on Saturday!

The Blazers won the swish3 constest scoring 15 of 40 vs MEM Grizzlies 14 of 25 in the 126-122 win that finalized the 8th seed and into the playoffs against the LA Fakers. This was a great game for Nurk (22 pts, 21 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks in 40 min), CJ (29 pts), Dame (31 pts, 10 assists), and Melo (21 pts).

Dame led scoring 5 of 14, CJ scored 3 of 7, Nurk scored 2 of 3, Wenyan scored 1 of 1, Zach scored 1 of 2, Gary scored 1 of 3, Mario scored 1 of 4, anc Melo scored 1 of 6. Although the Blazers allowed MEM 42 points in the 3rd Q, there were some bursts of defense and rebounding, notably in the 4th that contributed to the win. Dame has won the well deserved Bubble MVP Award!

Let's imagine good swish3 shooting and determined defense in the Playoffs, and let's beat the LA Fakers!

Ya know, I read an article today that postulated that the Heat may not resign Sir Meyers and he may have the opportunity to take his swish3 skills elsewhere. Good luck to ye.

He should take his skills to youtube, where he can be the next Logan Paul or his brother Jake Paul.

And I'm going to go shoot myself because I didn't actually need to google those names.
