This will be the second night of a back-to-back for the Blazers, so there is no rest for the weary, and no time to feel sorry for ourselves.

The 6 game home stand starts now. Portland has to make hay during this stretch, or their playoff dreams will be cut short.

Up first is the uprising Sacramento Kings, who have won 6 of their last 10 games. Out of nowhere, Sacramento is suddenly in a virtual tie with the Blazers in the Standings.

The Kings are looking to ascend to the throne of 8th seed. Portland must win this game to force them to abdicate.

To me Olshey haven't had a great 12 months it not just one thing you got up there. Let be serious there been some individual accomplishment so this year but the overall team wise it been disappointment season from injuries and players he brought at first didn't really didn't click.

Getting Melo after 2.5 years of us talking about it is my answer. I've loved having a Hall of Famer on our team even though he is past his prime.

Wenyen is now shooting 40% from outside in his limited minutes. Also looks really good at the FT line. The shooting he showcased in the g league might be starting to translate. If there ever was a game he saw an extended run it’s this one. Teams are attacking Melo in the pick and roll and force feeding him offensively isn’t helping too much either.

Gonna be at the fights tonight.
This season is pretty much over.
At what point does the NBA say this season is not worth playing? It could not happen to a better season as far as the Blazers are concerned.
Blazers are limping through a season the Virus is gonna put an end to.

"Hey Wenyen, go fuck yourself !"
-Terry Stotts, probably

It’s sooo annoying how predictable Stotts is. I knew Biggie would play the second half once Baynes stayed hot. Because in Stotts brain, evidently the only way to defend a big body is with another big body, nevermind that all Baynes was doing was launching threes.

I thought whiteside was huge and suppose it was to have a body at center, but im off the hassan wagon.
Empty stats, empty head. He will never be a winner in the league.
Its Ariza for me.

With that frontcourt, the Blazers should have a parade line going to the basket which should then open up wide open looks from '3'.

I'll check on the thread after the big Win/Loss. Whichever it happens to be?

You know, an outside observer might look at our rotation and assume that protecting Melo's pride was a top priority.

Resigning Rodney was big. But, I like turning Bazemore and Tolliver into Ariza and Wenyen. Kings could have kept biggie though.

He’s a stud, definitely one of the bright spots looking forward!

Could Trent being behind CJ be kind of like CJ behind Wes? Not sure, but he’s definitely shown that he deserves the time he’s gotten.
at this point their minutes should be flipped for the rest of the season see what Trent has when given a big role.

Possibly, but I also wonder about what that would do if we make the playoffs and CJ were to go back to his regular minutes.
