Forget it. We’re done. This was not our year. I don’t want to see Nurkic or Collins play one single minute this season. Let them keep clapping from the bench for this sorry group, and continue to rehab. Next year they can both come back strong along with Hood, and maybe we can make some noise. But it ain’t happening this year.

If either of them are risking re-injury, then leave them on the bench. If they're not at risk for re-aggravation, then I think they gain more from playing than sitting--Collins, especially. He still needs to play to improve and find his ideal role.

What if his ideal role is sitting on the bench?

I wish I believed that Collins had a great future ahead of him. I‘m afraid he’s just a journeyman.

I don't think he's a great player in the making. But whatever he is going to be, he still needs to play and develop to get there. Even if he's just a rotational player who can play a little defense and hit a few shots, he needs time on the floor to determine what he'll provide to the team.

Well, I guess I disagree. We know what Collins is. We’ve seen enough of him to know exactly what we’ve got. Him playing for the last five or ten games of the season isn’t going to change that.

Healthy players play, period. If he’s fully recovered, Zach should play. He can work on his game and the Blazers can further evaluate if he fits in their long term plans. If he’s not 100%, he should sit. How is this a tough call?

I havent been really impressed with Zach, but I do think its a bit early to know what he can be. Bigs tend to take a while to develop.

If Curry is playing for GS, then our bigs should play if able.

I don't know either Zach or Nurk going help our D but what seen lately though they couldn't hurt it any either. I bring both off the bench for remainder of the season it probably make our 2nd better defense team then the 1st unit. You have Trent Zach Nurk in the same lineup it will be interesting to see.

Dame should sit as well. Pack it in boys. This one is over.

I got agree with you on this in some part. Not about packing in but he not even 80 percent you can tell his quad is not right just away he moves on the floor on defense he needs to come to his senses he not helping himself and sure having hard time sliding with his man on D. I give him credit that he wants to be out to try to help but he needs to also realized this year not the year we are going to make the playoffs.

Believe it or not some folks on here think he’s the difference between a Western conference finals team and dropping to a lottery team lol
