    According to Time, it could turn out that Trump was correct with his "hunch" about mortality rates from covid-19. That said, the US is currently at 5%!!!!! Of course, we've only had enough test kits available to use on the most sick people so, it's undoubtedly going to drop. A lot.

    March 9th minus 11 days equals February 27th.
    Italy--655 cases officially as of February 27th.

    You're right: we're slightly ahead of where Italy was 11 days ago.

    Population density would have a big impact on transmission, as would lifestyle. Americans tend to stay home more than than Italians.

    Population density at home would have an impact as well...I mean if you work at home but have a spouse and 3-4 active kids you probably also have a decent chance of catching it from them.
