If only Mardy Collins got a chance for some real minutes in 2007-2008, he could really break out. Check out this little paragraph I came across the other day, it was pretty interesting to me<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"Playing on an undermanned team in April, Mardy has been averaging 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds 5.5 assists, and 2.0 steals, while leading the league in minutes played."</div>Dude had great numbers for a 29th pick when given the opportunity.

I'm a Mardy Collins fan as well, and I think I had him in the 15-17 range on my mock draft last year. He was a steal at 29, and stupid Knick fans booing the pick was ridiculous. I think he's a better basketball player than Nate Robinson, to tell you the truth, and he deserves minutes.

I've been a collins fan as well, I remember wanting the celtics to pick him, or atleast to consider him. Glad to see he's doing well now, even if it's on the knicks. [IMG]

I like Mardy too. Put him at the point with Zach and Curry in the front court and he in the perfect PG for this team. Steph's contract is up after next season so maybe Mardy will fill the void.

Although I agree he could mix real well, and provide some perimeter defense, I don't think Isiah will ever let him start...I think Isiah wants some marquee point guard with a huge contract that he'll go acquire if Stephon leaves.
