What does Trump have to do with this. You appear to have Trump derangement syndrome derangement syndrome. Oil stocks are piling up and do you know why? Simple, it's because of the virus threat to the economy meaning less demand. Saudi Arabia tried to mitigate this by getting all oil producers to lower their productions in order to keep prices up there. Russia said no because they wanted to drive American Shale oil producers out of buisness. Saudi Arabia got pissed and decided to teach the Russians a lesson by driving the price way way down via increasing production to further flood the market. This will have the side effect of driving shale oil producers out of business. Hence, the Covid-19 coronavirus is the root cause of the downturn in shale oil production stocks. Yeah, that's what Trump is proposing. Actually sick leave ought to be a national law. Without it, people surviving on a subsistence wage cannot afford to miss work just because they've got the measles or bubonic plague. Cut their wages if you have to but give them a reason to stay home when they're sick. This will protect their coworkers from getting an infection passed on to them. Then, do like Tektronix did, give them incentive to not take sick leave whenever they need a vacation. Tek used to grant people half their hourly wage for any unused sick time whenever they left the company or retired.
