Understood. The point is, Hillary has already shown she can (help) garner votes. A lot of them. Not to mention, (as the Vanity Fair article points out), should Joe not be able to fulfill his role as President, whom might the American public want as the ensuing Commander in Chief.....Kamala Harris? Hmmmm At any rate, I'm sure Biden is being counseled to consider these aspects very carefully when choosing his VP. From the Vanity Fair article.. .....they (the Dems at large) view choosing a V.P. not as checking a demographic box, but picking someone who can do the job on day one, if necessary, because that’s what Biden needs to do to win.”
I truly think more people dislike her more/now than 2016. That wouldn't bode well with Bern & the Bro's.
Well, you could be right about that. But, BUT......I watched the new Hillary documentary on Hulu! She was completely done-in on all sides!!
All things considered and given his cognitive abilities, Biden could actually provide the country with Trumpian levels of entertainment coming out of the White House. You gotta think glass half full. Get the guy a Twitter account that he actually controls and I think you could ease a lot of peoples pain who didn’t want an establishment clown for a president. Laughter cures more ailments than Medicare. At least I think that’s how the saying goes.
Vanity Fair?...c'mon man, you're better than that. Their view is no more valid or compelling than yours or mine.
Biden just declared that if he is nominated he will select a female as a running mate...Bernie said that in all likely hood, he would too. I'm guessing Kamala Harris or Amy Klobuchar....but there are also some VERY smart others who might be in the mix.
Joe is doing very, very well. Alert, well rehearsed, and completely on-point.....time and time again.
Kind of a fascinating, if pointless, debate. Nothing happened to change the direction of the race. Biden did not make any contributions to the Republican effort to brand him as having dementia. I was surprised at how hard they went at each other. I was surprised at how many things Joe promised, it was as if his strategy was 'we can't have Bernie being the king of free shit, let's outdo him tonight!'. The VP announcement makes me think he already has made a decision, and I guess the most likely choice is Kamala. Unless she's the black female supreme court pick. Maybe that's Stacy Abrams? I think Bernie could have announced the end of his campaign at the end of the debate, in order to save lives of voters in FL, IL, OH, and AZ. That would have been a nice touch. Instead he's going to take a drubbing Tuesday and then drop out. barfo
You think he’ll drop out? Interesting. I kinda think he’s gonna draw it out, but your, version sounds better.
