There are no pandemic experts in the deep state. Just guys sitting around in face masks and suits, jerking off at the though of mass human casualties.
The sun continued to rise over the flat earth, as all humanoids continued to contribute to the joint capital venture cycle. It seems like only yesterday we were allowed to eat food between the hours of 4pm and SEVENTEEN-L. I remember one time, I took my gov-shot 5 minutes late and, like, nobody really even cared. Whooo-eeee, times have changed. The Amoebic-Viral-Nano face shrouds were working as planned. You could hardly even tell i was wearing one, which is good, because i would immediately be eaten alive. Luckily, most people were too hungry to eat. We all got to work with a twinkle in our eyes, although I am only guessing, the religious equity act now mandated full eye darkening. It was the only fair way, really. The work was tough, piles and piles of deads, and even more almost deads. But it beats getting drafted into the bio energy source co-op. We took all of the breathers into the facility. The facility was a shining glimmering beacon of man's accomplishment. A true testament to humanity's shared sacrifice. We gently took each breather and placed them into the mass healing tube. From there they would be transported to the mass healing area. I could hear the blue men whispering through their ventilation tubes. "Can you cover me for a half-timeslice? I think i left the oven on." Umm, ovens were outlawed last week, at least the kinds that you cook food in. So I'm confused.
Suddenly socialism is in. Trump wants to send Americans $1,000 checks to cushion virus economic shock https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...to-cushion-virus-economic-shock-idUSKBN2142XF
And DeBlazio wants to Nationalize Manufacturing. We are in deep trouble if that ever happens here. Ask someone from Venezuela now.
pretty sure it fits into the broad definition of socialism currently, socialism is not having to build your own highway when you drive to the store and see it's out of bread and toilet paper
This is a one time emergency payment to cover basic needs and help people that are running short of funds in the face of a global pandemic. I mean, that would have to be an extremely broad definition of socialism.
Using the monies of society to help those at need within the society...how isn't that socialism? Socialism isn't based on whether the program is long-term or short-term. I think the reason your head is exploding, and you're trying to prevent that by reasoning that this isn't true socialism, that is lots of people don't seem to realize that we can and do have some socialism without being a dreaded socialist nation. Yes, this is a type of socialism--don't worry, it'll be okay.
You are just making an overly broad definition of socialism now. Now anytime the governments steps into to help people, its socialism? Times of need and emergency differ from daily life. I really dont know how you cant see this is not socialism.
I mean, I'm all for giving people some money to help them out in these trying needs. It's the right thing to do. But if assholes want to try to rub in my face for political points or spiking some imaginary football, talking about dur dur "you support socialism", I can also withdraw my support for measures like this and personally stop helping people, because people seem like they will be fucking ingrates about it.
The problem I have with this half baked case of political gymnastics is that none everyone really needs this stimulus monopoly money. I know that I for one, certainly don't need it.
