Lot of people on this site, a lot political views, world-views, ideologies, and sometimes we don't like what the other people have to say, but Hope all of you make it through all this crazy stuff safely.

Those of you like HCP who will be forced to start figuring out where the money’s coming from, hope that as a community we can come together and help out. GL everyone.

I'm in a weird no man's land. Not a team employee and not working for the arena. So there are perks and then there are serious downsides to it as I am seeing.
As far as the players helping, I don't think that is their responsibility to be honest.

Are you guys all still able to go to work? Any of you restaurant workers that are affected by this?
My son goes to college in LA and not only his his school shut down, but he works at the movie theater across the street from his apartment and IT just shut down.
    Any Starbucks employees?

Works been basically the same for me. Got the option to work from home like always but choose to go in. Gave everyone the choice to work from home if their job permitted it, only two have taken the offer.

@THE HCP what video editing equipment do you have at home?

Could you work from home converting and editing people's home and wedding videos?

I know there is a go fund me going around through pinwheel empire, if the Moda center employees are being covered, I'm sure they can splash some of that bling around.

I hear Costco and Amazon are really hiring right now. If he has a car, maybe door dash/uber eats.

Or he can find a sugar mama from Corona Del Mar.

Sucks HCP. A lot of us will be in this same boat unfortunately. My job is pretty corporate, I can work from home. But when our business slows down (it will), I could go.

I know a little bit about HCP and me thinks he'd probably laugh...which is what my comments were intended to make him do. He's not your basic doom 'n gloom type of guy.

Yeah... Ive seen and heard so many “experts” with so many opinions. A guy at work today asked me what I thought about all this and I know this is going to be offensive to some of you (Im sorry), I told him, “Ive got no idea what the right thing to do is, Im a software engineer, my thoughts are basically it sucks, all of it, the reaction, the economy, all those that will die with or without the virus. Yet, I think if a majority of “health experts”, and people who specialize in this stuff are saying to quarantine, then I guess we should. If there was a massive Software problem that could effect half the electronics of the world and whatever negative effects came from that, Id hope that what the majority of software people said is the way we handle it. Not politicians, not the media, not people who have no idea what they’re talking. Yeah there will be experts who disagree, but I think our best bet is to just do what the majority of experts are telling us.” - Obviously this is paraphrased.

Although I slightly agree, this feels like the "hurricane experts" who every year predict the big one, and the big one has happened maybe 2 or 3 times the last 20 years. Its good to be overcautious, but is it worth destroying the economy over 20-30k people?

If it affected someone you love, you would say yes.

If part of those 20-30k people were close to us most of us would say yes.
