<span style="font-family:Tahoma">Kenny Lofton: Hes always been my favorite baseball player. I used to play little league ball and throw my hat off like I was him back in the day. And he played for the Indians, so hometown team, favorite player, ya get it all..Manny Ramirez: Kinda like the same as Lofton. Was a hometown guy, and he was one/the best player back in the day on the 90's Indians. I still love Manny, wish he'd comeback but our owner is a cheap ass.Grady Sizemore: Well, hes kinda like the new school of Kenny Lofton, so it's why I like him so much. He has the same type of speed, he can hit the ball very well, and hes just the man for the Indians.Cliff Lee: Hes always been my favorite Indians pitcher every sine we they got em. I don't know why I like him so much, I just do, haha. Pretty much love My Indians[Old Indians]. I like some other ball players out there, but I don't really follow baseball as much as I used to anymore.</span>

Ivan Rodriguez - Possibly the best pure catcher ever. Yeah, Mike Piazza hits homeruns, but Pudge has a cannon for an arm. He was one of my favs with the Rangers, now I'm glad to see him succeeding elsewhere.Tony Gwynn - Awesome guy, great hitter, fun to listen to, class act.Kirby Puckett - similar to Gwynn... baseball will miss himMichael Young - Quiet guy, one of the few bright spots on the Rangers.Ken Griffey, Jr. - Pretty simple, if you were a kid in the mid-90's, you liked the guy. His stroke is as smooth as a steak knife through butter. Or something.Other random players I love: Ichiro, Dean Palmer, Rusty Greer, Ruben Sierra, Papi, Ryan Howard. K, I'm done.

Alex Rios, Roy Halladay, Vernon Wells, Reed Johnson, Aaron Hill, and AJ Burnett are the guys I like on the Jays. It sucks that Halladay and Burnett are both injury prone pitchers though.

Torii Hunter- Hands down the best defensive centerfielder I've ever seen. He's a class act, does so much for the Twin Cities community, and is a riot to listen to. Not to mention he's been hitting quite well recently.Justin Morneau- Fantastic hitter, and a guy that works very, very hard. Learned to drive the ball to the opposite field, and his career has taken off. He's one of the guys you don't hear about too much in the media, because he quietly goes about doing his business, but gets the job done incredibly well.Pat Neshek- Set up man for the Twins, and the start of blogging-athletes. He blogged his way through the minor leagues and is now with the big club. He's just flat out nasty. He doesn't throw particularly hard, but his funky delivery and nasty slider have been dominating the bigs.Ken Griffey Jr.- Back when he was with Seattle he was hands down the best player in the MLB. He was amazing defensively and offensively, and had he not gotten hurt, he may have well gone down as the best player ever. His swing is the greatest the game has ever seen IMO, and seems like a great guy.Omar Visquel- The greatest defensive shortstop (that's right Ozzie) ever IMO. When he was with the Indians, he and Roberto Alomar turned some of the craziest double plays I've ever seen.

Vlad-Awesome hitter with a cannon for an arm. He can hit any pitch no matter where you throw it. And he doesn't use batting gloves like me.Ichiro-He's freaking fast, and is a great hitter. He's also one of the best fielding outfielders with an arm that rivals Vlad's. Magglio-His hair is sweet. Plays for the Tigers. Great player and clubhouse guy. 'Nuff said. O-E-O!Polanco-His head is bulgy and bumpy which is disturbing and awesome at the same time. Almost never strikesout, and plays the game the right way.Griffey Jr.-Without the injuries, we'd be talking about Ken instead of Barroid right now. Great 5-tool player, a great classy guy, and would be in the top-10 of all time if it weren't for the injuries.Verlander-VERY friendly down to earth guy. He's gonna one of the best pitchers in the game in a few years for sure.Bonderman-Gets it done without all of the flash and attention. The anchor of the Detroit staff. He's the same age as Verlander, and they will be the best 1-2 tandem in a few years.Zumaya-103+. Gotta love it. Brings ton of energy and is pretty friendly. If only he didn't play guitar hero...Granderson-Awesome guy. Him and Maybin will be a nasty outfield combo in the upcoming years.Sean Casey-The friendliest player in the MLB. Everytime they show him, he's chatting it up with someone. Whether it be on first base, in the dugout, the umpire, a guy in the stands, or a hot dog vendor. (All I have seen him do). When 75% of the players in the MLB vote you for the nicest person, that has to count for something. He gives you a good laugh as well. Great clubhouse guy, and his abilities are good as well.Todd Jones-Nevermind. [IMG] All in all, Jones gets it done. You gotta feel bad for him sometimes though.Curt Schilling-Definitely a hall of famer. Vote Schilling for U.S Senate.Honorable Mentions-Kenny Rogers, Hideki Okajima, Tom Glavine, Andrew Miller, Pudge, Marcus Thames, Carlos Guillen.

I also saw in a recent Sports Illustrated poll that he was voted 3rd on a list of "Who gets the least from the most talent"</div>Yeah, our GM, JP Ricciardi actually called him out and said that he should start playing through a bit of pain. He's always on and off the DL.Yeah, he has a ton of talent. He throws his fastball like 98 mph when he's healthy...and his curve is decent also.

My top 3 would beRandy Johnson -- Well he did bring the only major professional championship this state has ever had. The most dominant pitcher of this decade, by far the greatest strikeout pitcher in history and possibly the last player to push for 300 wins we will see for a long time.Ken Griffey Jr. -- The best pure swing I have ever seen in the game and as others have said we would talking about him breaking the home run record and god knows what else had it not been for all the injuries.Alex Rodriguez -- The best all around player in the game. As long as he can avoid the string of injuries like Griffey ran into he will surpass Bonds as the all time home run leader and quite possibly the best player ever in the expansion era.All 3 of them playing up in Seattle and I still don't know why I never really cared about the Mariners :dunno: Others:Vlad Guerrero: Has been putting up hall of fame numbers for years and yet you never hear about him like you do with all these other starsIchiro: probably the nearest player to Ty Cobb's style of play (excluding the mean streak) whom IMO is the best player of all time.

Vladimir Guerrero- A flat out unbelievable hitter who can hit the ball hard anywhere in the strike zone. Has one of the sronger arms in the majors if not the strongest. Plus he's old school going to bat without the batting gloves.

Luis Castillo- A gold glove second baseman who always gets it done in the field.Always hits at .300 and is a very good leadoff man for the Twins. Deserved the gold glove at second last year IMO, but already has two to prove his value.

Johan Santana- The best pitcher in the game. Has led the majors in strikeouts each of the last three seasons, and second this season. Always among the league leaders in era and wins. A class act, always smiling when they show him on tv.

Ichiro- A master with the bat Ichiro is the best all around player in baseball. I say that because he's not only one of the best hitters in the game, always hitting for a ridiculous average, he steals alot of bases, he is in the top five when it comes to playing the outfield. He does everything exceptionally well.
