I'm not sure how people can compare commenting on a message board (which in itself isn't a big deal, but an exchange of ideas...where we all exchange ideas/banter/etc), and someone name dropping themselves in an email to a league that is dealing with a historic moment in the countries history...asking if they know when it will start up or what the latest is. It'd be like finding out someone you've made plans with during the summer, has gotten sick and going over to their house and asking them what their plans are for this summer. They have more important things to worry about. Ranting and raving on a message board isn't even remotely the same.
But the NBA hasn't gotten sick. And they don't have more important. things to worry about. Everything they're worried about is to bring back the NBA for its fans.
Yes they do have more important things to worry about. For the love of pie...have some perspective man.
The NBA knows how to prioritize these things. They're not stopping work on critical duties to debate a fans email. That email box probably gets tens of thousands of emails a day, it's nothing like going over to a sick individual in person while making insensitive remarks. If Eric confronted someone on the team in person then you would have a point. But he didn't, he sent an email to the appropriate channel for such concerns.
That's exactly my point... you're missing the point. It's called PERSPECTIVE. Him whinging about the season isn't really important when the NBA is dealing with other more important things than answering emails from fans. I swear to god, this place at times...
