    Tear yourself away from Rachel's Rants and get up to speed on reality. The vaccine already exists and cumbersome regs and redundant testing have been waived. Not that I would ever let anyone vaccinate me again for any reason.

    Pelosi and her husband have done this before and exposed and nothing happened to her. Barbara Walters went to prison for a far less serious crime which did not include abuse of office or deliberately misleading the citizens she works for in ways that could get thousands killed. But she's a rich Dem so...

    So my mother is in a retirement facility in newburgh.
    Last night a resident tested positive. they are now in full lockdown....

    i almost grabbed her last weekend to get her out In case something like this happened...

    she is fine but now im concerned she is locked in with the virus.

    Thanks and the same to yours.

    I have a feeling we aren't the first and certainly not the last. I don't wish it at all, but I think before this is all done, everyone one of us here will have had a direct impact from it, either from a family member or ourselves.

    The thing is, I was about to grab her out of the place last weekend just to avoid this. I know that may not have been the best thing, but now I can help but thinking of how she is locked in a building with the virus. Hard not to think its not gonna spread in the building.

    I know @bodyman5000 and 1 is in a similar situation with his mother.

    Spain official warns 80% of people in Madrid will get coronavirus, as nationwide death toll surpasses 1,000

    • On Friday, Spain’s health emergency chief reported that the country’s death toll from the coronavirus outbreak had soared to 1,002, up from 767 on Thursday.
    • Spain is second only to Italy for coronavirus-related cases and deaths in Europe, which has become the epicenter of the outbreak.
    • The WHO has advised all countries to adopt a mix of interventions based on an analysis of the local situation and context, with containment as a major pillar.

    Second dog tests positive for coronavirus in Hong Kong days after the first to contract the disease died
    • The dog is a German shepherd living in the Pok Fu Lam area on Hong Kong Island
    • It happened on Thursday after their owner was confirmed as being infected
    • The Hong Kong government has since urged people not to abandon their pets
