Late to the party...just now saw the videos. Not sure which was the funniest, the first one with the nut job with a camera...or the second one that actually showed the nut job who was wearing an Elmer Fudd hat. Still made my day...thanks guys.
Must’ve been the Q-T bar on the side of 99w? Lot of people got T-boned pulling out of that place drunk. I think it was closed down before I was even born but the building sat there empty for most of my younger years.
Hey, that name sounds familiar even after maybe in excess of four decades. Even when drinking me and my buddies always drove extra careful when drinking.
Could be that I remember it. It's just a little too far back for me to remember clearly. I remember the first one in Oregon which was the Longhorn in East Portland. They made me show my driver's license, my military I.D., my airline I.D. card which showed my age, a certified copy of my birth certificate and then made me sign a card swearing that I was 21. Then, they placed all this paperwork in front on a flat table and took a picture of it. I couldn't believe they would go to all this trouble to let me in.
You've gotta admit, it's more interesting than watching Sly's paint dry. It also paints a picture of what young men went through in that war.
