I told you guys when we had some MLE left that we should sign G.Wallace, and you guys all said we didnt have any money. Something you guys forgot about is that when you are trading with the bobcats, you have a 10 million dollar trade exception. we could trade for a player worth 10 m and give back nothing. Perfectly fitting our cap situation. The best to have done was to sign and trade peterson, graham, and possibly nesterovic for this guy. With the 10 m exception and the fact its unlikely he returns, (and the bobcats aquring a needed swingman + an atheletic 3/4) we could get rid of a big contract and get a guy like Gerald Wallace and still have cap space.
The Raptors never would have gotten Wallace. He would of demanded way more money than that and the Bobcats wouldn't trade him for nothing.
