Does it really matter to you?

Biden is a catholic and has been against abortion and supportive of the Hyde amendment.

You've said many times that you're a one issue voter and abortion is that issue.

So no matter who gets elected you should be happy.

Does anything really matter to you about Trump?

At any rate, Lanny tells me that there's NO way Trump gets re-elected. So, yes, it matters to me who his potential replacement might be.

Think about it, though. You're spending a LOT of time bashing Trump. The fact, though, is an election is coming up. Do you REALLY want Biden to take the reins in all of this? This is a reality check for the Democratic (alternative) party. At some point, you'll need to look yourselves in the mirror and say, "This is it. The time is now. Games are over. We have a critical decision to make."

I've pointed out various times in here the many other issues I support Trump on. I'm sure you've seen those. You don't miss much.

I don't think Trump could have miss handled this more. His only commitment is to the stock market.

Joe has been suspiciously MIA though. I'm not sure he could be more irrelevant during this whole crisis.

Irrelevant Joe vs incompetent Trump. It's going to be good times.
 
Who would you prefer Governor Cuomo from NY or Governor Gavin Newsom from CA as a potential President?

More so than Trump he's my guy. I'm not a fan of Joe, but at least he doesn't have a track record of paying off porn stars, strippers, going bankrupt multiple times, lies exhaustively, isn't a bully and doesn't fancy himself the smartest man in the room when the only time he's the smartest man in the room is in the same room with Eric Trump. And even then it'd debatable.

Also, I'd rather Joe not say something that Trump would spin in his favor. Don't give a bully any ammo and the bully withers away like the coward they are.

Joe Biden is what he is...a career left of center establishment politician. I think he'll be competent and put a team around him that is competent. That alone is a fairly huge upgrade on Trump. He's not who I'd handpick for President, but he's not an embarrassment either, IMO.

The main problem I have with him is that he comes from a bygone era where personal connections and being country club buddies with politicians from across the aisle mattered to some extent and there was some amount of work you could do with the other party. That era's gone but he doesn't seem to realize it--so I don't think he'll have the correct mindset to do battle. That said, maybe it doesn't matter too much--even if he's not an effective policy bully, people like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will have far more influence over what legislation gets through.
 
if Joe Biden had been the candidate in 2016, there never would have been a president trump....and the country and world would be in a better place

Newsom. But I'm virtually certain both will be Presidential candidates in 4 (if Trump wins re-election) or 8 years.
