Stumptown is giving away free cold brew concentrate in Portland Friday. The company says it's a gesture of appreciation for the city. Anyone interested can pick up a 64-ounce keg between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Stumptown's production facility at 1311 SE 9th Avenue. Portland. The company says a keg is the equivalent of about 100 stubbies of cold brew. People will need to provide their own pump or Nitrogen kegerator for the kegs. They will also need to dispose of the shell on their own. Stumptown will include a sheet on how to break down and get rid of the kegs. The company says the kegs will be sprayed down and sanitized before pick-up. Stumptown says the concentrate should be mixed with equal parts water.
