I don't have any experience with it yet, but if you click on the Oregon City Farmers Market, as an example, then scroll the product icons all the way to the right, you'll see a category for "All Plant Starters". From there, you can scroll through all of the plant starts offered by various venders.

Look on the bright side, more rain means better fishing and less Californians.

Grow carrots. Make carrot cake. Blueberries have set. Four artichokes in about a week. Edible now but a bit small.

haven't yet. I guess its a bit early for quality starts from what i'm finding out. Now is the time to plant form seed, which we did for most items, but didn't have any tomato seeds. Ill likely try to use the OC farmers market app and order a couple from there as well as a blueberry and raspberry start if the ones I have planted now in the barrels don't take off.

If anyone is going to start tomato plants from seed? I highly recommend the Black Krim variety. If you can find the seeds. You may need to order online.

Very tasty large tomatoes, but with an irregular shape. Best tomato I ever eat.

Haven't tried that variety. I have about two dozen tomatoes started from seed. Don't usually set out this early but they are so big they have to come out of their pots. Hardening for a few days first. I order seeds from Territorial in Oregon, they have great varieties. Pineapple, Chocolate Cherry, Green Zebra, Berkeley Pink Tie Dye, among others.

I usually wait until almost July to plant tomatoes. Quality starts grow so fast in full sun with lots! of water. Once they bear fruit cut off the H20 and the plants will put all their nutrients (and flavor) into the tomatoes.
