<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Lawrence Frank already is the Nets' career NBA victories leader, and could challenge the franchise mark for wins after agreeing in principle on a two-year extension, league sources said.

By early next week, the Teaneck native likely will sign a contract that will keep him on the Nets' bench through the 2009-10 season. He is in Orlando with the summer league team and was unavailable for comment.

Frank, who will turn 37 next month, has guided the Nets to the playoffs in each of his four seasons on the bench but has yet to get out of the second round.</div>
Eh, I don't think he deserves an extension at this point. I think they should have waited to see what happens this year.

Updated: Official, two year extension, money layout below.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Nets Sign Frank To Two-Year ExtensionThe Star-Ledger - 07/21 - 12:05 PM ESTThe Nets will announce Monday that they have added two seasons to coach Lawrence Frank's contract. The Teaneck, New Jersey native, who has one year (at $2.5 million) remaining on his current deal, will be receive salaries of $4.2M and $4.4M in the extension, figures that are higher than the current league average of $3.8.</div>Not really sure why he got this...he's an ok coach, but really hasn't done anything to push this team to the upper tier of the East. I really thought the upcoming season was going to be make or break for him, but I guess not.
