When your watching the playoffs and your team is out, would you root for your division rivals? The only person I can think of is CB32 who I remember saying would root for the raptors if the celtics were out. However, I cant bring myself to ever do that. Does anyone else do this?
Hell no. I was flat out pissed at the Nets when they eliminated the Raptors. I wanted to see Cleveland kill 'em.
Nope. I don't really know why other people would wanna root for the teams they hate. I know I wouldn't root for Detroit, or Chicago.
I know I rooted for Utah after the Rockets lost. Because I like Utah also(Not when they were playing Houston though ) because of Deron Williams and Ronnie Brewer. But for the Raptors? I hated the Nets...But at the same time I wanted them to win against the Cavs because I hate the Cavs more then I hate the Nets.
I rooted for the Raptors in the EC playoffs because A: The C's were out and B: I live in Canada and see tons of Raps games and C: Chris Bosh one of my fav players to watch play.I don't dislike the Raps so I don't consider it rooting for a team I hate or anything and I'd be more than happy to see them finish second in the division to the C's next year!I would NEVER root for the Lakers to win anything. I loathe them. I root for whomever is playing against them every time.
I've never rooted for the bucks, pacers, pistons, or cavs and I doubt I ever will regardless of circumstance. If the bulls are out of the playoffs then im neutral.
I watched the Bulls so much as a kid that I find myself rooting for them when the Bucks are inevitably out of the playoff picture.
I just cant bring myself to cheer for the celtics and nets. I dont know why, but I always predict the worst for them.
For the last three seasons, I've been rooting for the Spurs to take the title. I don't know why I root for them, they seem to beat the Hornets every year... But, in the playoffs I might as well root for Tim Duncan. But I will never ever root for any other team in my division. :no3:

I really like the team, I love the unselfishness, and I love the job Colengelo has done. I also really love the Bulls, but I was hoping for Toronto to do some damage. I wanted to see somebody from the Atlantic do some damage, and as a Celtics fan, it's impossible for me to root for the Nets. This year, however, is a different story. :shifty2: We can do some damage this year.
If I can't root for the Pistons, I would root for old Pistons players I still like to win. I'd root for Jerry Stackhouse's or Grant Hill's teams.

Once the Magic are out, it's all about the people that used to actually help the Magic at one time.

You guys got to make sure we dont take back the Atlantic again. If the Celtics were out, how could you cheer for us?
