You're doing the Trump thing of counting acreage as if it were people.

What I find interesting is that the Nets don’t have any fans.

After further review I do see some Nets fans that seem to live out in the Atlantic.

Looks like the Nuggets and Jazz are the biggest teams in America, just as we'd expect. Adding (their scale of) Alaska on to the Pacific Northwest seems to at least push them past the Timberwolves.

I think we need to think about eastward expansion. Idaho, Montana and Wyoming seem to me to be ours via manifest destiny. But why stop there? The T'Wolves suck, so North and South Dakota are right there for the taking.

Ha, yeah as though Montana and Texas are bigger than Alaska.

I was talking to this dude at a Chinese restaurant about the NBA and asked who his team was when he said he came from the east. Dude said he’s a Nets fan and I was like ... DAMN! You don’t meet many of those in the wild here in the PNW.

Another interesting point, this must have been taken post Durant leaving golden state. If this had been taken prior to him leaving, I am pretty sure most of Cali woulda been golden state fines otherwise.
