    I'm not understanding your response. Biden criticized Trump for not doing enough (i.e. money/benefits) for all the people unemployed by the stay-at-home measures. He wasn't criticizing Trump for the stay-at-home measures.

    Again, you can debate how much power the President has to help the unemployed, but that's what he was criticizing Trump for.

    You'll have to direct your questions to Biden, maybe via Twitter. I literally said twice that you can debate how much influence the President has over that. I'm just pointing out that you got his assertion wrong.

    The reality is that obviously Trump can't do all that much by himself, but in campaign season, it's easy and effective to pin anything negative about government on the President. Happens in every Presidential election year, by both parties.

    Okay fine, I got that wrong. Still his tweet is ridiculous, especially since he doesn’t provide what he would do differently.

    Trump made it perfectly clear in 2 press briefings before that he will sign any bill that passes congress helping the American worker effected by this pandemic.

    As ridiculous as most of the criticisms launched against Obama, including from then-private cititizen Trump. As I said, it's easy and effective in campaign seasons to pin anything negative (or that you can spin as negative) on the President, since he's the face of government and the party.

    Which is to say, I don't think Biden is making a good criticism of Trump here, but it's a standard part of an opposition campaign.
