A virtual rally wouldn't be very newsworthy, as it would be just him giving a speech from his basement.
A virtual town hall has more promise, I'd think.

the now only viable election alternative to trump, the mainstream democratic choice for a sweeping ultimate response to trumpism, riding the wave of anti trump energy that has been cultivated for the last 4 years (to a boiling point of life or death importance) is joe biden.

who has nothing to say, or anybody who wants to hear it.

That may not be a bad thing. Everyone already knows who he is, the vast majority of people have already made up their minds whether or not to vote for him, and he's not a brilliant public speaker. Doesn't seem like he'd have a lot to gain from being on TV 24/7.

idk, i would think this race still needs winning. There are still voters to gain. By all accounts it is going to be a dogfight in crucial states. And unfortunately, it appears the Dems best hope is someone who doesnt do well on TV, to the point of diminishing returns.

Neither one great speakers but Joe is more diplomatic. If I was his campaign manager Id have him on the news channels as much as possible, even Fox news.
Ih he picks certain interview spots on Fox he would win over voters.
Joe needs to fast break on offense he doesn't need to be predictable or a typical politician in his approach.
If he selects Amy as VP he's got it, if he goes with the Harris the Californian that midwesterners stereotype I think he loses.

While I do agree that Klobuchar helps his vote tally more than Harris, I don't think it's possible for Biden to lose. I think he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and still win.

This will be a huge game changer if the Supreme Court rules trump has to release his taxes and other financials. Orange man will go into complete meltdown.

I'm always amazed at how much knowledge a guy like Thomas Jefferson had acquired as a young man...linguistics...zoology..entemology..ornithology...navigation and the constellations...philosophy...those guys were so deeply accomplished at such young ages.....maybe they benefited from the lack of television and entertainment currently taking up most young folks time

In those days a gentleman could spend all of his time on the liberal arts and there really wasn't a lot of competition.
Try and find someone today who knows his ass from a hole in the ground who knows anything about politics who doesn't have a lot of experience in that area.

Most of them were from a privileged elite class. That's why they were able to do it.
