I agree that those people were using the sense common to them. Just as plenty of black people have died in the South of natural causes, as one quite naturally dies from being lynched or shot or beaten.

If you were in an area that had been targetted with a lot of burglaries and saw someone running down the street wouldn't you be at least be curious? I'm not defending what they did, they belong in jail. I think we just don't know, sure we can say there is a chance maybe a good chance it was. We can definitely say that the "system" is screwed up that they have moved so slow to do anything to the guys who killed the man. Just not sure how any of the evidence you or the article provided says that those guys did that simply because he was black. I think common sense says, it was probably that racism was a motivating factor, but we don't really know.

PS - Maybe he doesn’t live in that neighborhood but is training for a marathon, or he runs 10 miles or 5 miles ... and that’s one of the neighborhoods he passes through? The lack of foresight is... astounding.

Again, you don't know that... every time a black man is killed by a white man, it's not a racial thing. Just because it appears racially motivated to you, doesn't men it necessarily was. There was supposedly a struggle for the shotgun.
And as I've already pointed out, none of us know the whole story and/or have all the facts yet and until we do, I for one, won't prejudge.

I have a black grandson and if he is jogging in a neighborhood whether he lives there or not and 3 guys start chasing him in a vehicle with guns and yelling at him and then gun him down, my last act on this earth would be to see them buried. Fuck that we don't know shit as there is a young black kid that is dead now and only guilty of jogging. If they even suspected anything call 911 and let the authorities deal with it. These guys need to rot in prison.

 

Under what authority were they chasing him? There was no crime that they saw him commit other than being black and jogging. I hope my grandson isn't targeted like that. This sounds like the George Zimmerman shit all over again.

Common sense says it was because he was black. It has happened way too many times. It's okay to take a stance. Thast's how things get changed for the better.
