VP picks really are not much about bringing a state along anymore. It's much more about balancing the ticket in other ways, but not geographically. Bush picked Cheney because he brought experience, ditto why Obama picked Biden, and actually, mostly why Trump chose Pence.
Apperantly it doesn't matter. This thread is moot. Biden could choose Joe Exotic and some would be YEAH!!! BIDEN/EXOTIC!!! Down with Trump!!!
Harris will not go over well in the mid west as a left coaster and ties to the SF mayor. Dem's in those factories cant stand Californians. It would be kind of like a Scot Irish voting for a Catholic Brit. Not going to happen.
How is my thread moot. I am simply asking who people think will be Bidens running mate, as he is the presumptive nominee and is betting VP choices. I am not asking for down with Trump or Biden Bashing. I don't see that as being moot.
well don't take it personal. I did say this thread and not your thread. But its simple really. The “anyone but Trump” makes this thread moot. if it doesn't matter who is running for president, why would it matter who his vp is? its moot. Edit: You can delete my post if you want(not that you need my permission, lol). I'm not gonna though, cause I think it was funny. Biden/Excotic2020
They voted for Reagan who was both a Californian and a divorced movie star. Edit: Come to think of it, Nixon was both a Californian and a politician.
Back in those days Oregon even had a republican governor or two. Think that would ever happen here again? Very unlikely.
I'm not taking it personal bro. Just wanted some clarification. Why would I delete it? Your certainly welcome to your opinion. There is no personal insult here. P.S. I doubt Biden picks Joe Exotic, and if he for some reason did, it would make me less likely to vote for him. If I do decide to vote Democrat in the election, It will be because of his VP selection.
Is there a running mate he could pick that fits the previously-established criteria (female, democrat, national profile, NOT Hilary) who could cause you not to vote for him?
I'm truly bummed honestly. Second election in a row. I just don't know what I'm going to do. Ive never been so undecided and not wanting to make a decision before ever in voting on any level.
Come up with another Tom McCall and we just might have another Republican governor. Another Vic Atiyeh? No way.
Good question. Possibly. Joe Exotic for sure! But, for real, maybe. I am really hoping he picks Amy because that is who I wanted as the nominee.
