Do you have anything to back that up?
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't lie to the FBI whether under oath or not.

    This from the Washington Post:

"Were his lies material, as required by the statute to which he pleaded guilty? Absolutely. For those of us who spent a professional lifetime as prosecutors and in the Justice Department, this is not a close call.

Had Flynn been asked his favorite ice cream flavor by FBI agents and told them it was vanilla when he preferred chocolate, that would be immaterial. But lying to the FBI about his conversation with a Russian diplomat, given his financial and other ties to Russia, in the wake of massive Russian interference in our 2016 election, and during an FBI counterintelligence investigation concerning Russia? That is material — plain and simple."

    and

"...it might be helpful to make a partial list of those who seemingly thought Flynn’s lies were material just, as they say, for the record:
President Trump thought Flynn’s lies were material. He fired Flynn in 2017 for lying to Vice President Pence and tweeted that year that he “had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.” White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, according to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report, recalled that Trump was angry at Flynn for lying about the conversation he had with the Russian diplomat.

Vice President Pence thought Flynn’s lies were material, stating he knew at the time Flynn was fired that Flynn “lied to me” and that “the president made the right decision [to fire] him.” It seems that Flynn’s lies were material to Trump and Pence."

Yes, I’m very certain he wasn’t under oath. The FBI even told Flynn he didn’t need his attorney. Since they were entrapping him, they wouldn’t tell him he was under oath. That would immediately get him to call the meeting off and wait for an attorney.

He lied under oath twice...it's well documented if you want to see the real news about Flynn....he was also a general who swore an oath upon entering the service...you sign off on all sorts of civil rights when you join the military..military law isn't conducted like civilian law...although in Flynn's case he took two oaths before lying and admitted doing it....it got swept under the rug by yes man Barr

There are literally dozens of articles written about it with a simple google search mags, but you know that....I speak here after reading them...if you have any interest you'll read them...if you google the justification for your take on it...that's what you'll find. I'm not going to go Denny with the cut and paste debates...I read for an hour about it before dinner.....I'll comment here. If you want me to provide you with relevant reading material, that'll cost you around 500 bucks a session

Nope, there isn’t a single article where what Lanny claimed to say what happened. Flynn never, “lied to the FBI while under oath.” FAIL

If you lie to the FBI you don't have to be under oath...it's still a crime.

you are not telling the truth about Flynn..you may not realize it though...don't know what the Lanny reference is nor care.....I just read two more...and the court documents he signed are available when he admitted his lies. there's a failure here that is letting this guy off the hook....for election ammo...and that's all this is...snake oil

Yup, the matter of sworn affidavits, if that's what you're referring to.

Lol. I will repeat. The statement made by Lanny was, “Flynn lied to the FBI while under oath.” That is 100% false.

Nor does it look like it matters that the plea was made. Thanks for playing

If the judge accepts the DOJ’s case drop. We’ve already been through this before.
