They should do a race that goes from the Washington/Canadian border, down to the Mexican Border, over to Florida, back up to Maine, and then back over to the starting point.
I drove from Florida to Nebraska Fri-Sat and the roads were clearer than I've ever seen them. We made great time and we were driving a gutless Ford Ranger.
I once drove from Northern Alabama to Panama City Florida and then up to Oregon and then back the same route in 7 days with my father in a battleship huge Ford Mercury never straying far from 55 mph. We even hit a snow storm in Northern California and up through Weed to Lakeview, Oregon and then up to Portland.
