They have been improving in the win column every season, adding around 7 wins a season. They make a great move in aquiring Jason Richardson, which gives them the perimeter scorer they need to take pressure off Gerald Wallace. Sean May, when healthy is one of the more underrated young PF's in the game. Walter Hermann can ball. Adam Morrison will be coming off the bench....Okafor and May have to be healthy for them to break 40 wins. What do you guys think the Bobcats will do this season?

It's all about staying healthy, like you mentioned. If they can put together a healthy season, I think they have a chance to contend for that 8th seed. They could use a backup point guard and a center, but the talent they have is playoff worthy in the East, no doubt. I'm very excited to see this team play this year.Raymond Felton will have a huge year.

Brevin Knight played a huge role in maturing Raymond Felton, and now that Brevin Knight is gone, Raymond Felton will have to prove that he can handle the point guard duty on his own. I think they will just miss the playoffs, right behind Orlando and New Jersey.

They will not make the playoffs, as much as I love the Bobcats, putting Okafor at center is not going to work, it's like putting Bosh at center, they can play it, but why bang up your star, natural power forwards at a different posistion? The Bobcats need a real center, which really makes me question what they were thinking when they got rid of Wright

I think they'll in better position from last year and they did pretty well staying in games and competing. I bet they surprize, still need to address the backup pg spot. McInnis may return and Junior Harrington may be an option. They just need someone for emergency and rest.

When Knight was out for a portion of last year, Felton stepped up and ran the point to perfection, all on his own. He was up around 9 or 10 assists per game, and his scoring is good enough to atleast make him a threat there. He did much better when Knight wasn't suited up, than what he did when Knight was suited up. So there shouldn't be a problem there.I agree with you that they just miss the playoffs this season, due to an injury to one of their low post players, more than likely Sean May if I had to pick one.

I've always liked the Bobcats' players, they're all young and improving. All they need is some veteran leadership and scoring and they got that in Jason Richardson. They could very well be a 40 win team next year, at the rate they've improved each year in the win column. The Richardson/Wallace/Okafor trio will be one of the best in the league, and I think Okafor will finally be able to be compared legitimately to Dwight Howard.
