I would say he was about making the unheard be heard so violence wouldn't be necessary.

People need to understand the anger the black and brown community have. Peaceful protests don’t do SHIT! Look at kapernick, he protested police brutality peacefully and got his career and reputation ruined.

The quote I posted I'm reading it as he is explaining, not endorsing.

MLK was a man of peace and I truly believe he was actively working for people to be heard so rioting wouldn't be necessary.

I understand the anger but you cannot go from peaceful to violence it will only lead to more bloodshed.

you can only peacefully protest for so long while nothing happens/improves

the police don’t give a fuck about a peaceful protest

has been any serious change in any PD that was because of a peaceful protest?

what positive changes did Kaepernick’s peaceful protest bring?

true, a lot of 800k don’t police themselves so we should cut that number down

the cop who killed George Floyd had 18 prior abuse complaints. You think the others cops who knew this guy is a shit head, did their job by letting him do his thing until finally, he killed someone?

Kap would have been effective if he dint promote Castro and wear pigs in his socks.
If he had gotten violent his cause would have faded and he’d be in prison.
I want these dirty cops punished and I want fairness for all Americans and immigrants. If we get to violence then you will have soldiers on street corners and curfews. Give Peace a Chance..

    Hello darkness, my old friend
There's no point arguing about whether rioting is "right" or not. On an individual basis, sure, people should take responsibility for their actions and consider whether rioting is a good action or not. But in terms of human dynamics, this is inevitable. Just as authoritarian regimes eventually lead to violent revolutions, this kind of corrupt policing, often protected by the government and justice system, is going to lead to uprisings. It's inevitable and unavoidable. Might as well debate the rightness or wrongness of the tides.

I definitely don't want to have solders on my street corners telling me what I can and cannot do.

Why is that aren’t I able to have an opinion on Kap.
I think others have been more successful than him in addressing social injustice but they are actually working with groups in a peaceful manner.
