I think he is running the country like he thinks you run a business. You make veiled threats, you change the talking points, you say what you think people want to hear, and you think everything the CEO/owner says is what will be done. He's running the country like he's from the 1950's, and it's the 60's and he's afraid of civil rights, womens rights, and equal rights. He's used to being able to say whatever the hell he wants with no one holding him accountable or saying no to him. He's totally the kind of CEO that in 1968 would be calling women 'toots' and hiring them based on their dimensions and not their skills.
Did you ever watch M*A*S*H growing up? There's a scene where Maj. Frank Burns gets into a tank, and tries to impress Maj. Houlihan. Trump would do the same thing if he ever got into a tank.
Driving a tank is effin' hard. Visibility is really bad and at least the ones I dealt with - the levers to make that bugger turn were very heavy. On the other hand, it is better/easier than being the loader. That shit is scary.
I think it would be hilarious if Twitter said we are suspending all accounts until the EO is revoked.
Sure, they probably won't do it because of that, but if they are concerned about facing lawsuits based on revocation of 230, that could destroy their business too. They might only have to do it for a week and Trump will cave. Still, it would be pretty risky, but hilarious. That was my only point.
His new tweet changes the context. Of course, that isn't what he meant last night, he changed it in order to seem more suitable to non-assholes.
He always things ambiguously, so that way he can change what he means to reflect whatever he can spin positively. He words things so clunkily.
First off, I don't. I chose my words deliberately, not just clunky. Secondly, even if I did, I don't have the audience that he does, nor am I the president of the united states.
