First off I have heard from various articles that Andrea Bargnani has bulked up in the offseason and has worked on his upper body so that he will be able to bang with the low post players. Besides bulking up I have also read that he has grown a inch taller since the end of the playoffs :shok: :shok: .Anyways what kindof of numbers do you think Bargnan will put up next season? My prediction is 17 points and 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Last season Bargnani increased his point production every month in the season and showed glimpses of brilliance with his amazing court vision, clutch shots and ability to run the floor. With an increased role on the team I think these numbers could be accomplished by Bargnani as he continues to grow and prosper alongside sidekick Chris Bosh and TJ Ford.

Yeah, I found a picture of Bargnani over the summer. He looks bulked up. Here:[IMG]It's blurry because I had to blow it up. Enjoy.

16/8/2 would sound reasonable. I'm predicting a good jump in his rebounding because he will most likely be guarding the other teams center in which he has a better chance on getting a defensive board.

I say 17/6...His all around scoring game will probably improve a ton. He'll be more comfortable putting it on the floor and posting up.I hope his added bulk doesn't hurt his shooting touch.

I heard that Mitchell has Bargnani on an intense workout schedual for the summer so that is probably why he bulked up.

I don't see him ever being a great rebounder. He's kind of flat-footed. Anticipation is below average. I see him as a career 16/5 guy.

He averaged 4 rpg as a rookie last year in limited minutes. He was always a finesse guy in Europe, but now he is getting stronger and he's learning how to use his body to get rebounds. How do you see him only getting 1 rebound more for his career than in his rookie season?

Bargnani playing limited minutes? Please... he played 25-30 minutes per game. Those are starter's minutes.

I don't think he will average 8 boards, that's a little far fetch. Last season he averaged 4 RPG, I don't think it will jump up to 8 RPG. Yes, his bulk will make him a better rebounder, but not that good...

I think he will avereage 15/6/2

I think he'll be around 16/6/2 and a little over one BPG.

I was going crazy when I read LT7 and Shookem comments because for some reason I was thinking about Bosh's numbers for next year but then I remembered were talking about Bargnani, so 15 and 6 sound good for him. I would definitley be delighted with those numbers, hopefully he gains a little edge after the Olympic qualifications.
