But as far as rookie seasons, I think they can be equal, and Gonzales can be better his rookie year simply because of who his QB is</div>See, that's where you're missing the point. Gonzalez is a slot receiver and with his skillset he'll be that way for the rest of his career. It doesn't matter who the quarterback is; Calvin Johnson will have great seasons; he has the skills of a true #1 receiver in the NFL and probably can burn 3/4ths of the cornerbacks in this league...or at least out-jump them. Payton Manning can throw the ball to Gonzales 100 times this season, I don't give a damn, but that doesn't mean that he'll catch all of them neither does that mean that he'll be able to turn those catches into 10-15 yards extra. CJ can do that, Gonzales won't be able to. I believe Calvin Johnson has a much better chance at a 1000 yard, 10+ touchdown season in Detroit with Kitna than Gonzales does in Indy with Payton because of that.

Maybe another season of 4 or 5 return TDs and he'll really earn it, but I kind of think they're just handing this out to him.
^It's not that he doesn't deserve it. They just chose the best player worthy of having a 100 speed just to create suspense, imo Hester was a good pick for the 100 speed. The Madden people being able to say someone has the speed of 100 gets people excited and pumped up for the game.EDIT: The roster layout is sick

Calvin is the highest rookie.Hell Yeah :winkglasses: Anyways, PFF, your a complete fool. Ranting on about how great Gonzalez is, and how hes just as good as Calvin Johnson. Leave the thread before you further embarrass yourself.
