    My suspicion is the same as with Bojan Bogdanovic: this is a way to avoid the risk of getting coronavirus. A lot of players are likely to be VERY anxious. A significant proportion of the general population is totally freaked out by Covid-19, and NBA players have very little recourse to get out of being forced to go play.

    In LMA's case, it may be well-founded fear. Don't forget, he has (had?) a heart condition. That's the most significant underlying cause of COVID deaths.
