    Pool. Dinner. Freemont Street. Gonna peep some apocalypse survival stores, also some thrift stores to snatch up the shit desparate people were hawking due to the economy.

    Encore Beach is supposed to be open but probably daybed rentals, which means a high alcohol spend. Who knows id love to chill out there.

    certainly, Az is seeing a major spike in positive cases. Testing has increased, but at a very moderate level so the spike is real

    as far as the hospitalizations, keep in mind that chart represents a rolling average of new hospitalizations. Considering that the time-frame of hospitalization runs from 7-25 days, that graph clearly shows that the hospitals could easily be at capacity. There were 7 straight days when they added 150 patients a day. That's well over a thousand and likely most of them are still hospitalized

    yeah, I think we relaxed policies in Oregon about 2-4 weeks too early and are going to pay for it

    The virus isn't going away and we will not have a vaccine anytime soon, At least not in this year. There's still a strong possibility that the virus will be stronger this fall/winter. So why does it really matter when we or anyone else relaxes restrictions? It's really just a matter of time.

    Considering how many millions of people are owned by cats, if they were a serious vector we would see a lot more than two cases. Not impossible but unlikely.
