Scientists have been stunned to find that some ancient crocodiles might have moved around on two feet.

The evidence comes from beautifully preserved fossil tracks in South Korea.

Nearly a hundred of these 18-24cm-long indentations were left in what were likely the muddy sediments that surrounded a lake in the Early Cretaceous, 110-120 million years ago.

The international team behind the discovery says it will probably challenge our perception of crocodiles.

"People tend to think of crocodiles as animals that don't do very much; that they just laze around all day on the banks of the Nile or next to rivers in Costa Rica. Nobody automatically thinks I wonder what this [creature] would be like if it was bipedal and could run like an ostrich or a T. rex," Martin Lockley, an emeritus professor at the University of Colorado, US, told BBC News.

In high school we once had an ostrich run across the football field in the middle of one of our varsity football games. It then got hit by a passing train. Not lying.

I worked at Boeing back when we made the 707 FlyingOstrichCrocodile. That was one sweet plane. I was in charge of attaching the feet and polishing the toenails to a high luster. In those days 3 of us built the entire airplane, my job was the most important so they called me the "Big Dick". I wore a red shirt every day, the same one, never washed it once. Lying.

I've heard several people call you "A big dick" but I've never heard you called "The big dick.". No, my friend, I reserve that title for myself. Also, I have proof. My psychiatrist calls me that.

It happened. It was wild. Rural Oregon is a crazy place sometimes. I'm sure there is someone from Tillamook that could tell you a story of a cow walking into a football game and pooping on their cow patty of a field, or something.

I did a quick search for my story and didn't come up with anything, but somebody had to of gotten that madness on film from the crows nest.
