But a decade ahead on the inability to differentiate between marbles and peas. We are #1. We are #1. America, F-Yeah.
We had a chance to prevent these terrible candidates by suspending the Constitution and making Barack Obama "leader for life," but we didn't have the courage as a people. We'll have to answer to history for that.
It seems that you don't understand how presidential politics works. The DNC is appointed in large measure by the nominee who is the head of the party. You think ineffectual figurehead Tom Perez is going to pick the VP? That is way off base.
The Parties are established way before a nominee is selected and yes they can be throw their weight around like the last two primaries. The committee’s are beholden to donors whom have influence too. Tom Perez could indeed along with donors and other party chiefs influence the VP selection if they think Joe had the wrong one. Who do you think does the vetting!
Biden's team does the vetting. Biden was VP as you will recall. He has very clear specifications as to what he is looking for. Sure, he will listen, but in the end, this is actually his decision alone. Just a little bit of presidential historical knowledge proves this. Bush chose Cheney. Obama chose Joe. JFK and RFK chose LBJ. etc. Thinking anything is is just incorrect, sorry.
My point initially was that Joe being a bit shaky and everyone know's he is, and considering his age as well, the DNC will have influence. Look at the influence they pulled on Bernie by having Carvel going public bashing his social agenda. You underestimate the donors and media on both sides. Sure it will come out that hand picked is VP and it was a no brainer. Just like when Kennedy felt forced into accepting Johnson as his running mate for political reason. Do really think Joe is control of what's going on? not so sure, but Im voting for him.
Bush picked Cheney? Blue pilled comment if I've ever heard one. Keeping the faith in a two party system and expecting different results is insanity.
I also looked that up and got conflicting reports. I'll presume it is true and that the conflicting report was probably based on a lazy search.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., says she is withdrawing her name from consideration to be Joe Biden's running mate, calling on the former vice president to pick a woman of color. "Since I endorsed the vice president on that joyful night in Dallas, I've never commented on this process at all," she said on MSNBC Thursday night. "But let me tell you this after what I've seen in my state, what I've seen across the country. This is a historic moment and America must seize on this moment." BREAKING: Sen. Klobuchar announces she is withdrawing from consideration to be Joe Biden's vice presidential choice: "I think this is a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket. Klobuchar says she called Biden and told him, "I truly believe ... this is a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket." "There are so many incredibly qualified women. But if you want to heal this nation right now. My party, yes, but our nation, this is sure a hell of way to do it. And that's just what I think after being through this in my state." Klobuchar ran her own campaign for the Democratic nomination, picking up some late momentum. She had a moderate, Midwestern appeal, but failed to excite the Democratic base or voters of color. Several women of color have been floated as possible VP picks including California Sen. Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams, Florida Rep. Val Demings, Susan Rice and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. As NPR has reported, Biden is also facing increased pressure from black women leaders and activists in the Democratic party to pick select a black woman as his running mate.
Depending on how she handles the crisis in her city, Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms could either jump to the top of the list or fall to the bottom.
It’s going to Be Rice. Stand back and see how this is very close to an Obama ticket. Obama still has big time equity when it comes to what the people want. Plus Obama would be a huge part of Joe and Susan’s campaign. Covers all the bases.
