yeah, today's big jump was due to 99 cases at a church in Union County, but it seems like every day there's some hot spot that spikes. We've gone from 32 new cases/day to over 128 new cases/day. That's a four-fold increase in 17 days; that's crazy. And latest projections, based upon the latest numbers point to another multiple increase by July.

I think there is a lot of nervousness in the health department and Gov's office. The stay at home orders were implemented when we were at 17 new cases a day. They don't want to close things again, for sure, but if we start hitting 200 or 300 new cases a day, they probably will close things again

Wasn't a much larger second wave predicted?

On CNN today they said we're still in the first wave.

pretty sure that was in the fall

and that wasn't necessarily for Oregon

our high for new cases/day in April was 75; in may it was 78. We're heading for doubling that in a month

there would be a lot of resistance to more shutdowns, and IMO, some of the resistance is short-sighted, but some states may have little choice

I believe this is all still considered part of the first wave. The 2nd wave is predicted at the start of flu season.

I read a lot of articles that said the Second wave would come in September......we haven't traced or tested enough to know what the first wave has accomplished yet

Last thing I read from Fauci said we're at least a year away from seeing it start to fade...most countries say 18 months to 2 years

My wife has been cutting mine for the last 9 to 10 years. Costco has hair cutting kits, one of which has worked very well for us, for the last 9 - 10 years.

Dogs were bred for doing buzz cuts? I gotta see that dog in action. I think there may be buck in this for us if we play our cards right.

I finally succumbed on Saturday and gave myself the full buzz cut. I felt liked I again just walked out of the Navy Recruit Depot barber shop. Damn it’s short! But I’m loving it for the moment and I’m not sure I won’t keep it like this indefinitely. It will certainly save me money.....The only downside is that the young lady who cuts my hair is a drop dead gorgeous sweetheart. Damn I’ll miss her.....

I don't follow WWE at all, but I do have a co-worker that is married to a WWE wrestler, I have also met a couple in the past couple years at a golf course I frequent. NXT happens right down the street. One of them is a former OSU football player. I hope it isn't any of those, but it sucks that it's anyone.
