"who was estranged from his son when he died." I'm thinking he might not be the best messenger for his father's beliefs.

The father was a boxer but the son seems to be the one brain damaged.

On related topic Trump nominated a list of members for federal sentencing commission. This commission recommends sentencing guidelines for federal crimes. Every nominee is white and male. Is anyone surprised?

May the swallows of Capistrano forever shit on the heads of those who tore Junipero down, dammit.

Wow, talk about putting words into someone else's mouth. There's a difference between a statement and a question.

I didn't say they would be stricken from the history books...it was only a rhetorical question that I posed, period. And it was also clearly prefaced by my very first sentence by saying "All this retroactive condemnation of historical figures is a bit over the top, IMO."

And to be literal, retroactively speaking, every one of those Presidents I listed "marginalized and dehumanized significant chunks of our population." So you actually helped to prove my point.

I didn't say you said they would be. You asked a question and I answered it.

    Pretty simple.

BS...again, it was a "RHETORICAL question"...nothing more, nothing less...you decided to make it into something it wasn't.

"Who has said anything about striking anyone from the history books?"

    Pretty simple.

"In truth, We Know That All Lives Matter..."

That's all that needs to be said.

By people who aren't aware that black people face unique struggles in this nation, maybe. There are a lot of people who have little to no awareness of racial dynamics in this country.

I'm pretty sure most all people are/were "aware" but were in denial.

...difference is, now they seem to finally care enough to actually take meaningful action.
