Taking down statues us not erasing history. I learned about King George III in school but we don't put up statues of him.

 

At least it wasn't a Confederate dog.

 

I learned about Hitler in school but I'd be incensed to see a statue of him in a public place where one would have no right to not view it when going about your business or intended as a glorification.

 

I hope this inspires them to go back and get their GED.
