    I'll take:

    John Stockton $3
    Brandon Roy $2
    Larry Bird $5
    Rasheed Wallace $2
    Hakeem Olajuwon $5
    Arvydas Sabonis $1
    Damian Lillard $1
    Shawn Marion $1

I need defense and Stockton, Olajuwon, Sheed, and Shawn Marion give me All-World defense. Sheed is a better player when he doesn't have to be the man so he is high value at only $2. Stockton and Bird give us elite shooting from the outside. Dame is high value at $1. This would be a tough challenge but I think my team could pull it off.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I think the tiers exaggerate legend over production. I don't think Magic Johnson is a tier above Oscar Robertson, nor is he two tiers above Chris Paul. Similarly, Kobe Bryant might be better than James Harden, but not a full tier above. Moses Malone is only a step behind the $5 centers, if he's a step behind at all. Antetokounmpo is only not a $5 talent because he doesn't yet have a long, storied career. In talent, he's a $5 player. As examples.

Lillard on the same tier as guys like Horace Grant and Doug Christie--that I can't even begin to construct a possible logic for.

    Chris Paul $3
    Sidney Moncrief $2
    LeBron James $5
    Rasheed Wallace $2
    Moses Malone $4
    Chris Webber $2
    Damian Lillard $1
    James Worthy $1

Debated Kirilenko, Marion, Artest, I like the defensive versatility to cover 2-5 on the opposing roster. Also debating dropping Kawhi for prime Grant Hill

    SF Kawhi 4

    C Akeem 5

    Payton 2
    Battier 1
    Sabonis 1

My team has slightly better defense, still great 3 pt shooting, able to overpower inside with Akeem + Sabonis. Curry/Jordan/Durant would reduce each others dominance. My team’s role players are highly effective on both ends regardless of usage percentage. My team can all space the floor unlike Rodman/Iggy/Green.

    Peja Stojaković $1

    - Going against MJ, you need a generational talent which I picked up in LeBron
    - With Draymond the center, Hakeem was my pick to score at will down low, draw double teams to kick out to shooters, and he's nimble enough to dominate inside and on the perimeter defensively
    - Versatility was key, picked up players who could play two-three positions and switch on defense at will (Wallace, Kirilenko, James, Payton)
    - Plethora of all-world defenders who can guard multiple positions (Payton, James, Wallace, Olajuwon, Kirilenko)
    - A ton of outside threats to not only space the floor but dares that team to double Hakeem (Lillard, Allen, Wallace, Stojaković)
    - Also: Feel like this team would gel on the court, plenty of big-shot makers, leaders, role players

You’re not allowed to have more than two $5 players according to rules.

I’m going to be unconventional and play GP at 2:

    Stockton $3
    Payton $2
    Leonard $4
    Kirilenko $1
    Embiid $2

    Dame $1
    Giannis $4
    George $3

Wish I had an extra dollar to replace Kawhi with Lebron, but this starting lineup would do pretty well off switches and will still be a decent shooting team. The focus would be to force it down low to Embiid against Green whenever possible.

The bench would shoot the lights out with Giannis finding Dame or PG on the break.

    Dame 1Dolla $1
    Butler $2
    LeBron $5
    Malone $4
    Walton $4
    GP $2
    Worthy $1
    Jermaine $1

This group represents potent O and tenacious D.
    Dame offsets Curry and some.
    Butler gives MJ fits.
    LeBron dominates Pippen
    Malone kills Durant w/p&r
    Walton dominates with 3w's
GP would stop Klay in his tracks
Worthy would school Rodman and score 30 off the bench
Jermaine would dominate off the bench has the super team has zero center

One tough athletic team of Hall of Famers

    ($2) Payton
    ($4) Kobe
    ($5) LBJ
    ($4) Giannis
    ($2) Gobert
    ($1) Majarle
    ($1)Artest
    ($1) Jermaine O'neal

    For the win!

    Bonus:
With Dgreen as the center, the dynasty is small. I chose large defensive centers to hold him in check with Payton and Kobe as perimeter defenders. LBJ and Giannis cant be stopped.

Wes Unseld is criminally underrated at $2, IMO. Bill Laimbeer also would be a perfect addition for this team since he can out-dirty Draymond, and we know he knows how to handle Jordan's Bulls, plus he can hit 3's from the 5 spot.

$2 each for both Payton and Isaiah is a bargain. Again, guards who know how to handle the bulls, and could certainly D-up on Steph.

Gimme both Lebron and Bird. Either could play 3/4 Artest too, let him play the 2. Sheed can back up any of the front-court positions.

    Thomas ($2)
    Artest ($1)
    Lebron ($5)
    Bird ($5)
    Unseld ($2)

    Payton ($2)
    Sheed ($2)
    Laimbeer ($1)
