Yes, I believe so. He hasn't ever had alot of team success, but his shooting and scoring ability should get him in. He's one of the greatest shooters ever, and the greatest in the NBA currently for a while now. He has a career average of 21 ppg, which is more than great.BTW, basketball reference says he has a 70% chance of making it.

I think Cylde Drexler and Artis gilmore should get in before ray. They actually took their respective teams somewhere. Also Bernard King in his prime was far better then ray allen but has yet to make the hof.

That's not that impressive when you realize that he's been through ALOT of crappy seasons in Seattle....His teams in Milwaukee were good, but never great enough to win a title.

All I did was mention that he has, in fact, been 1 game away from a Finals appearance after you said he hasn't had much team success. Just pointing it out.
He is on the borderline for me but I think he will get in. He could use a great season with Boston this year and that will seal it. He really deserves to be remembered as a hall of famer in the future with one of the great shots along with Reggie Miller.
- Second all-time in career three pointers made behind the great Reggie Miller- 7 time All-Star- 2001 Three-point Champion- Won the Joe Dumars Sportsmanship Award- Holds the regular season record for most three pointers made (269)- Ranks 69th in all-time point standings- Member of the 2000 U.S.A. Olympic Gold winning team.- All NBA 2nd and 3rd team- Career 40% 3 point shooter- plus moreI think he's definatly made a case for himself.
Ray Allen definetely has the personal accomplishments and talent to be in the Hall of Fame but the fact that he's never even made the NBA finals bugs me. He may have been 1 game away but most NBA HoF's have been to the finals if not won a ring. He was never a good enough franchise player to take the Bucks or the Sonics to the NBA finals. Right now there are many people who I would induct before him unless he really proves something in Boston.
