I have a love/ hate with the game. You? It's great to hang with the bros, but that friggin' sport is so unforgiving, and for me, it takes too much time to get any better. 9 holes is about all I can handle, unless it a fun tournament or something. But today was hate for sure. Got in a screaming match with the golf Marshall. I duffed my drive on 7, so I went to hit a second shot. No one ahead of us or behind us, so its nbd. But the golf police -- errr, marshall -- sees me, barrels up, and says I can't hit it. I do. He then jumps out of his cart and runs at me. I yell, "Back off! Get out of my grill! It's a pandemic!!" It went downhill from there. Golf.
Bummer. I love golf, but I'm not very good. I'm curious where you were hitting your second shot from and why the marshal had an issue with it?
It was my drive. I was teeing up again. Right? Couldn’t see the harm. Wasn’t holding anyone up. Rent a cop with an attitude. That’s my take.
I've never heard of that rule. This guy must be an ass hole to dredge up a stupid rule like that in this instance.
