I've already stated in here...many times...that I'm really liking some of the things I'm hearing from the likes of Robert Woodson....and his 1776 Unites Campaign (as opposed to the 1619 project). He's (they're) absolutely not on the side of systemic racism. Nor am I.

Yes, you like black groups that are run openly by white people.

this is a horrible thing for a white person to say about a Black organization in 2020....it's more like an argument for the south to keep slavery around in 1859...I have a problem with this post seeing as how the cops were unfairly reeling them back in over your entire lifespan.

thanks for that quote dviss...it's powerful. More than that is it cuts directly to the truth in words that transcend the passage of time and reveal how many ways in which little progress has been made

90 years after the south surrendered, Emmet Till was lynched in Mississippi. And 65 years after Till was murdered, George Floyd died under the knee of a white cop in Minnesota. That's 155 "winters of delay" and it's an indictment of out nation's unwillingness to recognize our moral failings

Schmuck, Schmuck, did someone call me? How did you know my middle name? I've been very careful to keep it secret.

I've always defined politically correct as being polite to someone in a group that is often discriminated against. Examples being not using the 'N' word or calling our Latin America immigrants to this country by derogatory terms. There are dirty words for all sorts of minorities including Jews, Germans, Chinese and Italians. I've heard them all and more. Other examples not referring to a minority by name might include the eating of watermelon which I love, the slant of one's eyes, the speaking of a native tongue which I've heard in regard to a conversation on a gambling junket bus when my wife was talking to her sister and I had to interject myself rather forcefully. These are all examples of demanding that people respect the minorities at hand by not calling them dirty names nor disrespecting their dietary preferences and generally respecting any disparaged minority because of their particular minority status.

No, I am a whole hearted supporter of political correctness as I have defined and clarified by the use of examples.

I've seen Woodson has has posted articles the group has picked up in some manner. Nonetheless, my interests are with Woodson and 1776, not Capital Research Center.

The Capital Research Center was established in 1984 to examine how foundations, charities, and other nonprofits spend money and get involved in politics and advocacy, often in ways that donors never intended and would find abhorrent.

From the start, CRC has exposed how those organizations are “captured” by interest groups and used to undermine Americans’ freedoms.Today, we study unions, environmentalist groups, and a wide variety of nonprofit and activist organizations. We also keep an eye on crony capitalists who seek to profit by taking advantage of government regulations and by getting their hands on taxpayers’ money. We’re not afraid to take on the Washington Establishment—Republican, Democrat, or anyone else.

    Meanwhile......

    https://www.marklevinshow.com/2020/...l-history-of-black-america-is-not-being-told/

“1776” is an assembly of independent voices who uphold our country’s authentic founding virtues and values and challenge those who assert America is forever defined by its past failures, such as slavery. We seek to offer alternative perspectives that celebrate the progress America has made on delivering its promise of equality and opportunity and highlight the resilience of its people. Our focus is on solving problems.

We do this in the spirit of 1776, the date of America’s true founding.

I don't want to put this at Obama's feet, but, man, I thought 8 years of the first Black president would at least get things in motion. When he was first elected, be promised hope and change in that manner. He was supposed to be the great emancipator. America had arrived!

Only to be blocked and shut down by a recalcitrant and obstructionist (and racist) congress for six of his eight years in office. Do you even stop to think for one second about the shit you post??? And now it is Trump’s sole purpose to erase the things that Obama WAS able to accomplish.....like universal healthcare. America DID arrive when Obama was elected. Unfortunately, one third of this country didn’t get the message....or willfully refused to listen.

NO response to my post I quoted you on? About what your end all solution is?

Do you not want constructive debate? Or are you just trolling?

When did I ever say I had an end solution? Go back and look at all the posts I've made regarding Robert Woodson and the 1776 project. That is part of an alternative solution I am seeing to the BLM activities. Nobody has a perfect solution right now. Or, are all the protests just going to go on indefinitely?

He doesn't respond to facts, or when he's called out for his ridiculous takes. Absolutely right, he is trolling. Thanks for seeing that.

I didnt day you did. Go back and read my post to you. You claimed BLM didn't have an end all solution and that is one of your issues. So I ask you then, what is your end game result and how do you think it will work for all? If you dont have one, then why not pick and choose what you believe in and or think is right and stand behind it, regardless if some other factions of their agenda you don't see eye to eye with?

I think it might be because he doesn’t appear to be taking any of this seriously. It’s a fun little game for him to twist some tails and then run off laughing. Apparently he, along with a large chunk of white America sees all this as “same shit, different day”, and that it will all go back to “normal” as soon as Trump and the “Justice” Department keep flexing their muscles.......and guys like that are why this is probably going to get worse before it gets better.....

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I think you do want to put this "at Obama's feet" for how often you trot this lie out. Obama did set things in motion--for example, the kind of sweeping police reform that just happens to be the biggest issue of the protests. The Justice Department was in the middle of implementation (reviewing each police force in the nation and providing mandatory guidelines for training, de-escalation procedures, community outreach, etc) when his administration ended. Guess what happened? Your favorite racist, misogynist and homophobic President killed it as soon as he took office.

Please stop telling this lie. You know it's a lie and you keep repeating it because you want to further the narrative that even a black President doesn't care about black people and so government can't make a difference. Government can make a difference if people like you don't elect racist Presidents and governors and representatives.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

I'll change it up for you. You can lead the republican senate and administration to common sense, but you can't make them use it.
