    Hello darkness, my old friend
If Trump loses in November, I strongly recommend that he view himself as the true President-in-exile and berate and work against any Republican politician that doesn't act and vote the way he'd like.

Voting for Joe Biden like eating 'half a bowl of shit'

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'm fine with that viewpoint, but my personal opinion is that voting for Biden (and a Democratic Senate) is much better than "half a bowl of shit" if you care about women's rights, LGBT+ rights, minority rights, social welfare, police reform and various other issues. If one's only issue is close ties to corporate America (and it is an important issue), then yes, I can see viewing both parties as the same. But that's not the only important issue to me.

Democrats are far, far from perfect on even the issues I mentioned--I'd rather they go much further, but most progress in human history has been incremental, rather than revolutions, especially in democracies. I'd rather progress on those issues rather than nothing at all. I consider that progress much more than "half a bowl of shit" but I respect that you do not. At one point in my life, I'd have agreed with you.

Trump wants to replace Ginsburg on the Supreme Court with a justice who will take away your right to be a good boy.

Remember that when you fill in your mail-in ballot.

Look out in the streets, the democrats helped republicans build systemic racism into America's system. They care for people of color and poor Americans equally. Which is very little to none-at-all. And if you don't want to believe that much, the democrats certainly haven't done anything to remove the systemic racism, even under Obama. So they are just as complicit in it currently still being in place, in my view.

Biden and Obama could have ran against systemic racism for 8 straight years, yet chose to do nothing about it. So I see little to tell me that Biden will do anything on his own, he will have to be dragged there kicking and screaming. If by chance Biden actually does remove the systemic racism and drain the swamps in both parties, I might jump on board. (But I won't hold my breath. asthmatic )

And, yes, I understand Trump must be removed from office. But Biden has already told his donors not to worry, he has their backs. So he can be trusted about as much as Trump can be.

I will gladly take my chances with Biden. All you have is an opinion on what Biden will do but 8 years as vp with Obama show differently. Now trump on the other hand is we have almost 4 years of how trump runs a country along with a lifetime of corruption in his private life.

It really isn't a difficult decision.

There are no perfect candidates. Never were, never will be and anyone that believes there will be is deluding themselves.

Biden is a capable and competent candidate. He has his warts - like every politician (A politician without warts has a Groucho Marx problem) - but he is decent (or at least, not blatantly evil), smart, hard working and capable.

Trump is an evil, incompetent, incoherent, racist bankruptcy specialist. He has managed to bankrupt multiple business and is on his way to bankrupt America's moral code, government trust-worthiness, America's health and economy.

If Biden is half a plate of shit (which I certainly disagree with) - he is better than eternal damnation into the 3rd circle of hell that Trump saws in his wake.

No, I have Obama and Biden's 8 years together to show me.

That makes for a pretty good opinion... in my opinion. :tongue2:

Besides, Obama had swamp in his cabinet, same as Trump does now.

Vote for Biden people, that is your right. I am not going to play favorites here. I see two swamp monsters in Biden and Trump. Because that is the case.

    Never Biden, Never Trump

I would vote for a candidate that cared about all Americans. But they aren't on the ballot.

Our system isn't working for all Americans. The homeless are becoming a glaringly neglected population here in the U.S., even before Trump. Neither party cares that we have Americans living out on the streets in the richest country in history. It isn't working for people of color, nor the poor. It is the people that both parties ignore that make them the same in my view. (Also, if you listen to philosophers it doesn't take long to see that neither party cares, as they show you the how's and why's of the big picture).

(For me, it's about caring about people, not monetary value. If we have no humanity, we are not truly a civilized society).
