Wow, that was certainly unexpected. R.I.P. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/30/politics/herman-cain-dies-coronavirus/index.html
Yes, showing up to a Trump rally not wearing a mask sure led to an unexpected outcome. Shocked! RIP Herman, may your stupidity be a lesson to others.
He had already battled stage 4 colon cancer and was also in a high risk category because of his age. Gong to Tulsa without a mask was incredibly stupid, but we’ve all done stupid things in our lives. Cut the man some slack in his death. RIP.
Almost anyone's death should deserve some sympathy for sure, but regardless. We do all do stupid things, but how often are those stupid things actually putting our lives at risk? I did a stupid thing yesterday. I worked in the garden without shoes. god damn buried cat turd..... But it wasn't life threatening. I think there are different levels of stupidity sand not wearing a mask in this scenario while also having health issues is about as stupid as it gets. Well almost. Ive seen stupider. Like advocating schools should open because its safe ,but voting should be delayed because its not safe. That seems even dumber to me but... we are talking the cream of the crop of stupidity here. RIP Herman. Hopefully your passing is a sounding board to those who shared your views.
Why should he get some slack? Sorry he is dead but it's not like he wasn't warned and his behavior and outspoken attitude actualy put other people at risk.
He was a leader in a community that is getting hard hit by the virus. He had a duty and responsibility to act responsibly. He tested positive on June 29th and sent this out on July 1st.
I'm not sure if it was before or after but it was the same day. I would hope he didn't tweet that from the hospital.
