When Dame heats up and takes over, it will bye bye Memphis.

IF the free throw discrepancy was evened out the Blazers would be up by 20+

I expected more out of Whiteside considering he is playing for a contract. Right now, he seems disengaged and listless. I'd rather see Wenyon at this point than Hassan.

lots and lots of whistles, although I think Portland is actually committing those fouls

kind of reminds me of Pat Riley teams in NY and Miami..."foul on every play and they won't call them all"

Blazers have the depth to perhaps pull it off and it sure looks like it's taken Memphis out of rhythm.

Its still good. Memphis is in the game mostly thanks to Refs and their whistles...

We can keep the lead, now Dame time is coming, hope to see some pick and roll by Dame/Nurk... CJ isnt going to play that with Nurk obviously...

    Lets finish this...

Nice lead, but a lot to be desired. Dame - good but pretty rusty. CJ great, made many tough key shots - that's why he's a keeper despite what many say. Nurk lovvvvvvve his D savvy. Jusif Nurkic boom boom, boom boom boom. - needs to finish better. Hassan - missed to0 many key rebounds. GT awesome! Should be playing a ton of minutes . Hezonja playing ok for him but he's complete garbage - who makes a that moronic behind the back pass when you can just secure the ball. Zach - not much to be said. Melo - played hard and made some shots. Ant - no play, probably shouldn't be playing. Nas - probably should be playing instead of Hezonja.

He’s been disengaged most of the season. Just exacerbated in his current bench role

Mario has 8 points on 2 FGAs and is a +11. For tonight, he has been 'good' Mario.

I think the biggest part of it is, prior to this, he looked meh, good on occassion, but was backed up by...?? nobody. So in comparison, he was ok. Now, we see what Nurk looks like, and the HUGE contrast between Nurk and WHiteside makes his lazy play more obvious.

Love that hook Nurk has! Not enough big guys use the hook shot anymore.

Nurk looks fucking AMAZING. Wow. Right before he broke his leg, he was balling out hardcore like this... looks like he hasn't lost a beat.

Really pleasantly surprised by terry not placating to Hassan here and sending him to the bench. Time for big boy pants

    Positives:
    - Our bigs are doing a great job on an island against guards
    - Melo is hitting shots, and having his best defensive game of the season.
    - Our bench is good now with Trent and Whiteside. Helps that Mario played well.
    - Defensive pick n roll schemes seem to have been varied, and it's part of the reason Morant hasn't gotten going (Good job Stotts! But why couldn't we do this all season?!)
    - One of the best games this season in terms of us getting out on 3s.
    - Ball movement

    Negatives:
    - Whiteside and Collins with 4 fouls
    - A couple bad possessions in terms of defending against transition
    - Dame's 3 isn't falling
