Up next on the docket are the Miami Heat and the Sacramento Kings
The Heat haven't imporved this summer and they need to make a move to retool the supporting pieces around Shaq and Wade. Cook won't help them anytime soon and without Posey, their defense takes a hit. The Heat have also made a lot of noise about improving the PG position, yet every attempt so far has failed.
The Kings need need to move Artest so that they can move forward as a team. Any trade with the Heat would also involve discussion of moving Bibby as he has already been mentioned as a recent target of the Heat.
So would the Heat be willing to give up Haslem and some young talent along with the expiring contracts they have to make a deal work to the Kings satisfaction? Would the Kings be content enough in not getting rid of Miller, Thomas and SAR to move Artest and Bibby?

i'd think that miami doesn't even have enough to get artest AND bibby.
and by looking at storyteller, the only good expiring contracts are doleac's and williams'.

i don't think much will happen between the 2 teams.

I think Haslem is an OK player, but I don't see him as a guy I'd go out of my way to get. That's pretty much true of everyone on the Heat's roster. I can see the Heat wanting JWill's contract, but is a salary dump alone reason enough to do that? Does that really move the Kings forward at all?
From what I understand, Artest and Bibby hate each other, so they aren't going to the same location. Why would a team take on that headache. Honestly I don't see why any team would take on the Artest headache in any case, except a desperate team like the Heat. So I can see something like a JWill for Artest deal if the Kings decide he just has to go. But then you've got JWill and Bibby, which doesn't make much sense, and you've really got no cap room or anything else.
If I'm the Kings, I think I'd probably just hange tight and hope Artest doesn't completely wig out. At the moment he's the only thing remotely interesting about that team.
If I'm the Kings, I'd be wary, even, of trying to get rid of my bad contracts. Who are they gonna use their cap room on? Still, takin back SAR or Thomas would be another inducement to get a deal done
To me, it really seems like they're on the road to a total rebuilding job. What they need is some more draft picks.
So I'd maybe offer Artest to the Heat, but it'd have to be something like JWill + Doleac for SAR and Artest.

I'd peddle Bibby really hard for expiring contracts and potentially high pick. Look in the direction of the Clippers (Livingston, Cassell, Filler + pick) or Hawks (Pick + some combo of Claxton, Lue, Lorenzen Wright, Anthony Johnson, etc.).

The Kings shouldn't want anything from the Heat for Artest and/or Bibby except Wade, case closed. I'm sure Riley would love to rip off the Kings in a deal, but Petrie won't let it happen. This post is void if Ron Artest has another major incident though.
