Sanchez is making it an easy decision for the front office to let him walk at the end of the year. I wouldn’t even give him an offer. Just let him leave. Pursue Realmuto and even if we don’t get him I’d take anything really over him. 16 K this year in 25 AB. He struggled a bunch last year and has gotten WORSE somehow this year.
Boone needs to find more time for tauchman in both left and center field. The kid is just a good ballplayer and very fundamentally sound out there and a good clutch hitter
Totally agree on the butt hole sancheeto. The other day I saw a commercial with Sanchez speaking in Spanish of course and I wanted to throw my fucking boot through the TV... Would love to see Cashman DFA the son of a bitch. Just let him walk! Then again there's got to be some team desperate enough for his services to make a trade.
Agree Matt. The yanks drafted a couple of catchers with 1st and 2nd Ed picks a couple of years ago and another I believe last year that look good potentially. Too bad they didn’t get to play this season as no minor league baseball or I think one of them would be ready for next year. Either way I don’t see the yanks resigning him. The guys to sign going forward are Gleyber, judge, lemehiaeu and if he continues gio. Can’t stand watching sanchez flailing away at balls either and he is terrible behind the plate
