I watched my first color TV in about 1958 or maybe 1957 at rich old lady's house in Dunthorpe. My mother was her personal nurse and got me the opportunity to see it. I did not enjoy it because the color was bad and I had to be quiet as a church mouse. No way to treat a little boy. Saw my first TV in about 1950. It had a tiny round picture tube. My mom and I went with my father to watch a boxing match and commercials by Hamms. Gillette, Old Spice and whatever else. Again, a boxing match is no way for a tiny tot to enjoy the evening with a bunch of grown ups, aka grups.
Not my favorite by either of them (musically). To be fair though, I'm not a huge Cardi B fan. Her voice grates on me. And this isn't a female vs male thing for me. I feel the same way about several male rappers as well. With hip hop, the voice is the lead instrument, and i guess I'm particular about timbre. Now Megan Thee Stallion, i love. Her songs are absolute bangers and she has a nice flow. Girls In the Hood is my current favorite song to put a little energy into my work commute. Haha
Also, not going to comment on the sexual nature. It's not my place to say anything. They are artists. They are musicians. They are writers. It is their prerogative to sing about anything they damned well please.
Or I could be like Ben Shapiro who is afraid of the "p word" because he has never given a girl pleasure in his miserable life. Haha. He seems like the kind of guy that would have hard time saying the word, vagina.
