Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut http://slamonline.com/online/2007/07/an-op...o-andrew-bogut/That is well worth the read, and he slams Bogut (in a respectful way) pretty nicely. Etan is the man, and I'm so happy somebody came out and said something. Andrew Bogut is an arrogant prick who thinks too highly of himself. I remember before he was even drafted, he made comments about other NBA players and how other Australian basketball players all sucked, and that he'll easily be the best, etc. On top of it, he hasn't lived up to expectations thus far.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Etan is so smart off the court, but he plays like a serious buffoon on the court.. But yeah, I'm glad to see that Etan didn't go off on Andrew in that letter.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Bogut has always been overrated IMO. Besides his size, I didn't see what people thought was so great about him...

Etan seems like a real smart guy.. Bogut needs to stop seperating himself from everyone else, and he needs to keep his trap shut when he doesn't have any idea what he's talking about..

Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Etan Thomas is awesome. I never knew he was this type of person off the court to actually write an open letter to another player. Reminds me of Mutumbo. Andrew Bogut has been bashing the American culture and hes finally been addressed. Cant wait to see his response...in the media and on the court :shifty2:EDIT:As far as his skills, he hasnt lived up to the 1st pick, but hes still a pretty nice C to have.

He just got owned up the ass by Etan Thomas, if he says anything more it'll just make him look stupider..?
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Hes too stubborn to be quiet...he'll respond in some type of way.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Bogut just got owned. Not a surprise to me, Etan usually does something similar to this every year or so. I'm glad he stood up because Bogut's comments were ridiculous. It's nice to see him take the stand for his teammates and other NBA players.Etan brought up some good points, when he started talking about Bogut racially discriminating I started to get worried, but he backed it up with reasonable points which is something he hasn't always done in the past.On another note, I kind of hope this is Etan's last 'open letter' as a Washington Wizard.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut The Milwaukee Bucks are going to give BCB an heartattack with all this Bogut getting owned and Yi not coming....think God Mo resigned or we would probably be wearing some "R.I.P. BCB" sigs.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Awesome article. Etan Thomas is a very, very smart and insightful guy, and he really seemed to be fair in his arguement against Bogut. he acknowledged what he agreed with, and respectfully disagreed with Bogut's points, along with nicely backing up his opinion.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Talk about making a big deal over nothing. Come on Etan Thomas. :no1:
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Bogut came off as such a prick. Although Thomas is right, and it is a well written piece, that fact that he even took the time and acknowledged it was sort of annoying.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut Thomas should definitely be a columnist or something when he retires. I'm sure he's already got some offers lined up.

Sometimes he comes off as brash, but he's a great guy, his teammates like him. I don't see the big deal if Bogut doesn't like the bling-bling culture of the NBA...thats his opinion, it's something a lot of the European players don't like.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut In my first read of Bogut's statements, I didn't notice he used "80%". Coincidentally, that's about the percentage of African Americans in the NBA.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut He reminds me of Beast from X-Men...HUGE with muscles but very smart.
Re: Etan Thomas' open letter to Andrew Bogut weren't there a lot of posts after this? Did a bunch of them get cleared out for whatever reason?
