So apparently Nassir Little is out due to dehydration.

Excuse me? How is he dehydrated enough to miss games in the bubble??

from everything I've read, and know from experience, the big issue is pain management. If the Blazers can get a handle on that so he has his range of motion pain-free, he could easily have a good shooting game

of course, the downside would be just jumping and landing funny, or getting stressed by a hard foul. That could cause the pain to flare-up and throw him way out of sync

hopefully, Blazers bury the Nets early and can load mange both CJ and Dame

Thank god Crawford is out. I would have had nightmares for months if even as old as he is had lit us up for 30+ points and we lost the game.

Maybe a GI bug and they don't want to explicitly say he's got the runs?

here is the remaining NBA schedule:

    upload_2020-8-13_10-55-22.png

the good thing is, Portland will know what they need to do before the game starts. In the unlikely scenario that all 3 teams they are competing with lose today, the Blazers can take the night off

however, if even one of Memphis, Spurs, Suns win, the Blazers have to win tonight to get 8th seed. They don't want to be in a position of having to win twice against the Spurs or Suns. Not even against Memphis for that matter

and of course, if two of those teams win and Portland loses....Cancun on line 3

if I'm math-ing things right, looking ahead, if Portland wins tonight, then takes care of business against the 9th seed, they will have the 16th pick in the draft (Orlando has 15 locked up) The 'best' Portland can do in the lottery seeding (by losing tonight while the other 3 teams win) is 12th. That would give them a 6.1% chance of a top-4 pick

    Best case scenario
They don’t need to win so they rest all the starters and win anyway.
    Too greedy?

That was my thinking but our game isn't until late evening so that doesn't make sense.
